Mary McPartlan(d) was born ca. 1818 in Dundalk, Louth. She was the daughter of Thomas McPartlan(d) and Mary (possibly Crawley). In July 1841, she married Peter Quinn (b. ca. 1814, Forkhill, Armagh) in London. They had the following children:

Mary (b. 1844, Middlesex, London; d. 1844, same)

Eliza (b. 1848, London)

Peter Jr. (b. 1853, Portsea Island, Hampshire, England; d. 1857, same)

James (b. 1856, Southsea, Portsea Island, Hampshire, England)

Edward (b. 1859, Stepney, Middlesex, England; d. 1912 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; buried in New York City)
