John was married in Dundalk, County Louth in 1864 to Ellen Garvey, resulting in a son Andrew, before they emigrated to England about 1866 were their daughter Mary was born, in Lancashire. He died in Newton in Makerfield, Lancashire in 1868, aged 31 years. Sadly little else is known of his history.
