Johannah T Lynch, baptized in Tuosist RC Parish Co. Kerry, emigrated to US arriving New York City 25-Jul-1860, with her 4-yr old brother Thomas and parents Jeremiah Lynch and Johannah Lynch and her grandparents Thomas Lynch and Nora Lehane Lynch, who had been in NYC in 1855 census and were marked on the passenger list as US citizens. Her brother Thomas had been born 4 years before her in England. I do not know what happened to her grandparents, who do not seem to have come out to California, but she and her parents are in the 1870 census in San Francisco. Her brother Thomas married Mary Ann McGrath of Stapleton NY (Staten Island) in 1875 and Johannah and her parents went back to NY for the wedding. They and her brother and new wife returned to San Francisco by 1877. Johanna T Lynch married John T Kelleher 15-Feb-1885 San Francisco CA. They lived very briefly in Auburn CA but returned to San Francisco being frightened by the wild forest fires in the mountains.
