William Cooke was born in 1798 in Wexford Ireland.  He married Mary Deacon daughter of John Deacon & Alice Boulton.  Not sure if they were married in Ireland or after them immigrated to Prince Edward Island. There ss a immigration record from Ireland dated Nov 1817  of John Deacon and 6 family members prepareing to leave Irlenad from Wexford Coun ty Wexford in the spring of 1818.

William and Mary had 11 childred all born in Prince Edward Island : Mary Ann  1825-1911, Hetty -0 1827 -??, George 1828 - ??, William Edward 1830-1830, William Edward 1831-1889 &  John 1831-1909 - twinds, Caroline 1833-1905, Thomas 1836-1844, Anna Maria 1839-1889, Annie E 1846-1858, George Henry  1849-1934
