John Willis married Esther Bayly (Bailey) in 1832.  They came to Ontario, Canada in the late 1840s as their son William was born in Ireland in 1847 and their daughter Sarah was born in Ontario in 1851.  Their headstone reads native of Newtownbarry, Ireland.

I believe John's father was George Willis (b.1759 d.1854) and his mother was Francis (maiden name unknown) (b. 1766 d. 1836)

Esther's name is spelled with an H in most documents however spelled without on her headstone.  Some documents have her maiden name spelled Bailey and her marriage has it Bayly
