Mary Casey was born in Fermoy, County Cork in 1841. 

She married Edward Gormley (1824-1897) and together they had at least six children,

Mary's husband Edward was employed as the Master of Fermoy Union Workhouse as was her son Francis Martin as indicated by the 1911 census. 

Mary died in 1888.
