John Vincent was born in Limerick City and immigrated to the United States with his wife named Mary Maxwell likely in 1854. They lived in New Barbados (Hackensack) New Jersey and had 10 children.

At this time, I don't know what parish they were from in Limerick, or perhaps they were from different parishes.

John Vincent was a carpenter and lived to age 95, living always in New Jersey after immigrating.
