Married Mary BLAYNEY in 1828 in Glenealy Church of Ireland ( found www.igp.web.com/IGP Archives.Wicklow)

James died in Wicklow on 18th June 1847 (Warder & Dublin Weekly Mail -26 June 1847)

Mary died 16 May 1891 in Wicklow.   (Nat. Archives of ireland Calendar of Wills)

They had a number of children born in Wicklow,  including  two sons who came to New Zealand around  1867. -  William Henry John and George Francis Charles.

One son, Frederick James,  became vicar of St. James Church, Chorley, Lancashire.

A daughter, Emily became Frederick's houskeeper for many years- never married.

A daughter, Jane,  married a William BELL in  Liverpool in 1859.
