Ellen Darcy

Ellen Darcy was Baptised on 28 August 1868 – Coolgraney, Ballythomas, Wexford, Ireland. At the time of Ellen’s birth her father, John Darcy was 27 years old (1841 – 1879), and her mother, Mary Darcy nee Fanning was 21 years of age (1847 – 1911). Ellen’s sibling at the time was sister Margaret (1865-1938) then later, Annie (1871 - ), Catherine (1873 - ) and Michael (1876 – 1947)).

Ellen married Andrew D'Arcy at St Andrew, Dublin in 1891.

Ellen is known to be resident at 15 Bracklou Street, Portaloise, Queens County in May 1920. Source: British Army War Pension Records for her husband Andrew D'Arcy.
