Catherine Kaveney* aka Keaveny (1819-1912) of Croghan was the wife of Michael Grimes of Hermitage, Croghan.

Catherine could read and write but her husband Micahel could not. He was still alive and living at Hermitage in the Census of Ireland 1901.

Catherine survived her husband and lived to the grand old age of 93. She died at home in Hermitage with her daughter Maria at her side in 1912.
