I am trying to find information on the parents of 2GGMichael Herbert Quinn. He wasbaptised 01 May 1827 Booterstown Blackrock & Dundrum, Co Dublin, parents Daniel Quinn and Kate. The closest possible match I have found is the marriage of Daniel Quinn and Catherine Corbett 07 Feb 1826Emly, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Roman Catholic church Witnesses: Thomas Reeves & Patrick Meagher. Would migration of a young couple from Emly to Dublin have been normal in the 1826-1827 time frame? Michael Herbert Quinn subsequently emigrated to South Africa where he married in 1861, had 10 children and died in 1900.
