I have been searching the Catholic Church records of Avoca / Newbridge / Redcross in County Wicklow, in particular for the family name of Moore. I found a reference to the church my ancestors where baptised / married, in the records as being Barranisky. Could you please provide me with some understanding of which District, Union, Townland etc., the Barrinisky Church / Avoca Parish would pertain?
Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark
Providing a link to the church parish website, might help you in your search
I am Wicklow based but not in that parish. I can look into it more.

Some more interesting Barranisky parish stories from the schools collection many years ago. Folklore and stories from the parish, always a great read!
