Patrick Power and Catherine Henley

Wexford

I am searching for information on my 3X Great Grandparents. Patrick born circa 1805 County Wexford and Catherine Henley born circa 1810 County Wexford.

They had 4 children Anne born circa 1838 Hook , James born circa 1840 Hook ,Ellen born 1849 Ramsgrange and Patrick born circa 1851 not sure where probably Hook -havent been able to locate records for either birth or baptism.

I have been unable to locate any marriage or death records for Patrick and Catherine.

Spelling of Henley varies on documents found , maybe Hanly or Hanley.

If anyone has any information please let me know.

I searched on the subscription site FindMyPast.ie

I located the baptismal record for Anne on June 15 1838 at the Hook/St. James RC parish   https://registers.nli.ie//registers/vtls000634110#page/24/mode/1up Mother was shown as Catherine Henly

Also saw a James Power baptismal record January 30 1840 same parish Mother's maiden name looks more like Hurly than Henly  https://registers.nli.ie//registers/vtls000634110#page/44/mode/1up

Also located an Ellen Power baptismal record January 30 1849 same parish mother shown as Hurley  https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000634111?locale=en#page/26/mode/1up

I did not find the record for Patrick. Also no marriage record found.

Its stating to be a mystery about Patrick snr and Catherine, maybe they were married in another County and moved to Wexford.

Patrick jnr moved to Scotland and I picked up his trial from there to New Zealand.

Scotland records dont appear to have the other 3 siblings although if they were married before any move it would be difficult to trace them.

Not all RC parishes in Co. Wexford have records back to 1838 and earlier. Possibly they were married in one of those parishes. I did an all Ireland search for the marriage record and got no record.
