Carroll family in County Wexford

Ii am trying to find information on my CARROLL family but have very little information to go on. James CARROLL was born in Ireland (Co Wexford) on 20 September 1820. His parents names are unknown. He may have had a brother named Daniel. James CARROLL married Bridget HAYES/HAYS, daughter of John HAYS/HAYES. They may have married in Ireland. By the early 1850's they were in the United States living in Maryland. Everything I've found on them so far only gives me "County Wexford" but nothing more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Lisa, While researching my husband's family tree (Carroll) I came accross a James Carroll. He erected a headstone on the grave of his father in the 1850's but no mention of him after that so we presumed he went to America. However, Daniel is not a family name so I wonder if his brother could be Dennis ?

I have no Dennis in my Carroll tree but the names James, Daniel and Patrick run rampant in my tree.
