Jillian, there are 33 likely descendants of this couple who have posted 33 public member trees on Ancestry. Perhaps you can contact some of them.
Jillian, in the 1926 Irish census of Wexford, there were 1385 people named Kehoe. So yours will not be an easy search.
Jillian,
Some of the trees Patricia mentioned show Sarah died in 1889 and Edward died in 1901. I found theses records on Irishgenealogy

Concern is Sarah's age when she had your James. Their son Michael was witness to both deaths.

Mullanagower Townland, Co. Wexford
"Mullanagower, a townland in County Wexford, is located in the Catholic parish of Castlebridge (Ferns), which is part of the Diocese of Ferns, and also within the Catholic parish of Crossabeg (Ferns).
This means that the Catholic Church serving the area is part of the Ferns ecclesiastical jurisdiction, which includes both Castlebridge and Crossabeg parishes."

Crossabeg, Ferns - Catholic Parish Registers at the NLI
You might try contacting a Catholic Church in the area to see if they heard of the family.
I see the marriage of Edward and Sarah in Castlebridge RC parish, but no sign that I can find of any children to the couple so far...
Also not seeing any listing for Edward on Griffith's valuation in the Castlebridge area (~1852) , which I'd usually expect for a farmer
Marriages generally took place in the bride's parish, so maybe the family lived in an adjacent parish ?
(Marriage of Edward & Sarah 25th Nov 1844)
p.s. I looked at several of the Ancestry trees - dont look very reliable to me..
I agree with Shane that info on the trees is questionable, but if Sarah (perhaps her birthdate is off) had James later in life they might have lived in Mullanagower. Michael, her son, was born about 1850 and James' birthdate might be earlier than 1860. Could Michael or Martin below be Edward's father?

Hi Shane, Agree that Ancestry trees are unreliable! Very often, unfortunately. But it's possible that the people researching the Kehoes are their descendants, who Jillian would like to meet. Just clarifying my post. All the best!
Something to note re one of the possible Catholic Parishes for that townland mentioned above (Mullanagower) - Crossabeg/Ballymurn (Artramont/Kilpatrick) - the NLI films, and FMP and Ancestry transcripts, only cover from 1856 onward for this parish union. If I remember correctly earlier records for the parish were available at one stage through a local Society which unfortunately since closed down. I am trying to follow up on these... according to James G. Ryan's "Irish Records" (1997) these contain baptism and marriage records for the parish union from 1794 onward.
Mullanagower townland is about 4km north east of the site of the former Chapel at Crossabeg, the other chapel for the parish at Ballymurn is about 6km north of Mullanagower.- there's still a church at the same location, now dedicated as "Church of the Assumption and St Malachy" (older maps show as St. Malachi's.)
Thankyou all for your replies.
There is a lot for me to go through.
I did see a genealogist when I visited EPIC. Laura thought that the Daly family may have been from the Kilcorral or Glasganny areas. She couldn't find any mention in the Griffiths either.
These areas certainly align with your suggestion of Mullanagower.
Looks like I will have a wander in these areas and then do alot of research when I return to Australia. At least I have some idea of where to look.

Jillian,
You might want to contact local funeral homes. They might be aware of the family.
