Searching for children of Michael Downs and Bridget Glynn (Mullingar) 1880's

Mullingar (Westmeath)

Hi

I'm looking for the children of Michael Downs b.1849 Mulligar and his wife Bridget Glynn b.1863 Killucan.

I know they had at least one daughter Bridget Beatrice Downs b.1887 Mullingar, but would be interested to know if they had any other children. I believe they emigrated to Iowa US at some point. But would be interested in knowing any other children they may have had while in Mullingar.

Per RootsIreland (paid subscription) in addition to Bridget they had James 1883 and Mary Ann 1885.

Bridget, James and Mary Ann Downes were actually born at Derrymore townland, which is in Killucan civil parish, this Derrymore townland (there are others with the same name) is located a little to the North of the town of Kinnegad- see the entry for the townland on the placename database (Logainm.ie) - the head civil registration office which covered this area was in Mullingar town the registration sub-office for their area was at Killucan village.

Would anyone be able to find out if Michael Downs 1849 Mullingar had any siblings? I'm hoping he may have had a sister Eliza or Elizabeth?

Many trees on Ancestry show Michael was born in 1849 which is consistent with the 1900 census. His marriage record shows he was 25 in 1857, father James.

A possible brother/ cousin lived in O'Brien, Iowa
