John Guy and Bridget Gaynor, married about 1840 in Meath or West Meath
Westmeath
Greg S
I'm trying to find a record for John Guy, convicted 1848 in Westmeath for sheep stealing and transported to Australia for 7 years in 1852. Married to Bridget (nee Gaynor) at the time of conviction and they had 4 children. She came to Australia as a free immigrant in 1857, with the children. They settled in Tasmania, Australia
Greg,
To assist other volunteers. Per the ship record on Ancestry, Bridget went to Australia in 1857 with the following children James 18, Margaret 16, Mary 12, and Patrick 10. So, John and she would probably have been married around 1839. On the ship record Meath is identified as where they were from.

In the Tithe AppIotment Books, the foIIowing heads of househoId named Guy were Iisted in Meath. CIick on the bIue to see the record. As John's first son appears to have been named James, perhaps one of the Jameses beIow was John's father.
