Hi Barry,
I saw your Ancestry tree where their son Michael, age 20 in 1861, was born in Ireland. So, it makes more sense if Bridget and Peter married in Ireland, not England. I searched Roots Ireland (paid site) for their marriage and Michael's birth, but did not locate any records. They could be from a parish that does not have records back to the 1840s. The tradition was a couple would marry in the parish that the bride was from. It is not likely that someone from county Mayo would marry someone from county Westmeath in Ireland in that era....the record you show from Bridget's birth could be another person, and as there is no record for Peter's birth, it is not certain he was from Mayo. The letter "J" you have for Bridget's father is the name John...written in Latin as "Joanne". Given that she did not name any of her children John or Anne might indicate that those are not her parents.
Regards,

About Michael b. 1861. Possibly he was Peter's child by an earlier marriage?
Thank you Carolyn and Patricia - this information is greatly appreciated. I’ve ordered both of their death certificates to see if they shed any more light. Barry
