Researching Michael Powers - b. July, 1847 in Dungarvan?
I am researching my great grandparents, Michael Powers (aka Power) and Mary Flinn Powers, who most likely emigrated separately to the U.S. in the 1860s. Family history notes that Michael was born in County Waterford. Mary very likely was born in Rossmore, County Waterford in October, 1844. Her parents were Thomas Flinn and Bridget Veale, whom I verified on my great grandmother's death record. I located a likely baptismal record for Mary and her parents. I know nothing about them beyond their names. Some family members have notes about Mary living in Kilmacthomas.
Ancestry.com provided the following relevant details for Mary's baptism.
Mariam Flynn in the Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers, 1655-1915

According to U.S. census records, Michael emigrated from Ireland in 1868 but these records are frequently off by years. Michael and Mary married in Illinois, USA, in 1876. Their children included Johanna (b. 1880), Patrick (b. 1881), James (b.1883), Mary (my grandmother - b. 1884), and Bridget (b. 1886).
I would like to find additional details for Michael and Mary, and their parents, in Ireland. I cannot confirm the names of his parents although I have located a possible baptismal record for a Michael Power born to Patrick Power and Margaret Mahoney Power on July 29, 1947 in Dungarvan. This same month/year shows up in a couple of U.S. documents for my great grandfather, Michael.
I appreciate any/all leads.
