GEARY/GUIRY/GIREY in Ardmore

WaterfordArdmore (Waterford)

My great-great-great-grandparents Thomas GEARY/GUIRY (1807-1870) and Ellen CURREEN GEARY/GUIRY (1807-1870) lived in Ardmore on Rocky Road, just behind Saint Declans Cathoilc Church. They had seven children born in Ardmore between 1830 and 1848.

I would like to find where they were buried. I have both of their death certificates from 1870, but they do not state the place of burial. I have searched Saint Declans Cemetery and many of the on line burial records with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions as to local records or sources?

I will be in Ardmore next month and would like to locate their graves.

Thanks

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I assume you located this site http://www.waterfordcouncil.ie/departments/culture-heritage/family-hist…

I would contact St. Declan's.

Please consider adding your ancestors stories to our XO Chronicles site https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have visited those sites with no luck. Most of those sources cover periods after 1870 when my g-g-g-grandparents died. I have also contacted St. Declans.
