John Mulcahy 1837 Baptismal Record

Aglish (Waterford)

I have located the Baptismal Record of my wife's 2nd Great Grandfather John Mulcahy dated 03-Jan-1837. From the parish of Aglish, County Waterford. His fathers name was also John Mulcahy and his mothers name was Catherine Donovan. I believe that John, his brother William and possibly their parents emigrated to the USA (Boston) sometime in the 1850s. Looking for any connection to any relatives that still might be in Ireland.

In 1911, there were 384 Mulcahys in Co. Waterford. May I suggest that to look for a living relative you first search for descendants of John Mulcahy/Catherine Donovan who stayed in Ireland? And then go from there.

I hope this is helpful.
