I am looking for online resources for newspapers from the Stewartstown area before 1930. Our family (Magill's, KInley's, Kennedy's, and Gaussen's) were active in the Orange Orders and I'd like to discover more about them. Are there any online (scanned, etc) newspapers from the area? If not where might the archives be held?
Hi
You can try www.irelandoldnews.com or the British Newspaper Archives http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/?gclicd={SI:gclid}&gclid=CMzWxr-j2McCFYRl2wodfRoCzw&dclid=CLLJ4r-j2McCFYFmGwodGtQCQw
Hi Magill Researcher,
Your post was in 2015. If you are still interested I would like to make contact.
Stewartstown was only 5 miles from Cookstown and it seems my family may have come from this area,
