Burke Clonmel

TipperarySt Marys Clonmel (Tipperary)

Hi

I am interested in contacting relatives of Frances Burke born approximately 1907 at 10 Gratten Place Clonmel (according to Census records) she married Denis Treacy from Kilbarron Nenagh in 1939 who was stationed in Clonmel with the army at the time,they had three children John Eileen and Mary they later moved to Youghal Cork and later still to Nenagh where Denis Treacy died in 1952.

It isis said thatFrancis and her three children may have moved to England following Denis death ? is it possible she may have moved back to Clonmel ?

Denis Treacy and my father were first cousins so it would be great to hear from any of the family

Francis Burke siblings were John,Richard,Mary and Michael are there any of their families who may have maintained contact with Francis or her children

Hello Bill,

Thank you for your email. We did not have much information regarding Eileen's Mother's side of the Family so it is welcome details which I can include in  my Family's History.

Frances had 4 children but sadly Michael died less than 3 weeks old.

 John came to London to work  in the late 1950's. He had a succesful career in accountancy and travelled widely in his job. John never married and eventually moved to Hastings and St. Leonards where he died on the 10th February 2015.  Eileen & Mary came to London in 1962 where John had found them a
