Quinlan from around Moyne and/or Fethard

Tipperary

Looking for the family of Mary Francis Quinlan (born 1890 registered Coleman December 1890) father Frances Quinlan, mother Ellen Fennelly. Connection (DNA) somehow to Michael Quinlan of Silvermines Co Tipperary. Mary Francis Quinlan married Thomas Heslop 10 Sep 1913 in Dublin and she died in England. Her brothers were: Thomas Quinlan (1883-1959 Fethard), Richard Quinlan (1886-1976 Fethard) and William Quinlan (born 1888 Fethard). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ireland XO connected me with my Silvermines Quinlan family in 2009! I have visited and am keeping in touch thanks to this site!

Attached is the marriage record of Francis Quinlan & Ellen Fennelly in Dublin, Oct 1881. It shows they were both from Tipperary and gives their father's names. Above their record is another record on the same day for Ellen's brother Patrick Fennelly.

It looks like both couples went to Dublin to be married by a priest named Richard Fennelly for the Quinlan/Fennelly marriage and another priest named John Shortall for the Fennelly/Shortall marriage.

Regards,

Carolyn

Mary had two additional brothers - Patrick, Oct 1884 and John, Jul 1887 according to the paid site Roots Ireland. All the brother's records show they were baptised in the RC parish of Clerihan which is adjacent to the RC parish of Fethard. Mary only has a civil record showing the civil district of Fethard whereas John has both a civil and church baptism record showing Fethard (civil) and Clerihan (church). I would think that Mary's baptism also took place in the Clerihan parish as her brother's.

BTW, when you say you are looking to connect these Quinlans to the Silvermines Quinlans, are you referring to the RC parish of Silvermines or the townland of Silvermines?
