I am looking for the birth of Mary GreedI know her father is James Greed but I can’t seem to find anything on her.
i know she married John Maher in 1820 and they had children in Ireland.
Thomas Maher came to Australia
I have had a look on ancestry,find my past,family search but no luck.
i did find there marriage on Ireland.ie
if anyone could help me with this mystery I would be very happy.
I found a baptism record for their son James. The family came from Templemore. I also think I found their marriage record, but it doesn't have a year. It was held in Templemore. Typically, weddings are held where the bride is from. Templemore did not start recording baptisms until 1807.

The paid site, Roots Ireland, has their marriage record as well as all five of their children. Here is the information:
Marriage - 4 Feb 1820, John Maher (College Hill, residence) & Mary Creed (Mien, residence). Templemore parish, witnesses - John Meahar & Ellen Creed.
Baptisms - Timothy Maher, 6 Nov 1820 (Graigue), sponsors - Thomas Maher & Mary Dough....
Thomas Maher, 28 Nov 1821 (residence not recorded), sponsor - Mary Morkin
James - as above, sponsors - Edmund Brute & Wid (widow) Maher
Margaret, 17 Sep 1826 (Curraduff), sponsor - Judith Creed
Patrick, 6 Feb 1829 (Curraduff), sponsor - Margaret Ceorish
The witnesses/sponsors with the same surnames could possibly be siblings to the couple, but no way to be 100% certain.
All baptisms were in Templemore parish.

i was wondering if someone could look for a Mary creed/greed I have found her father John Greed it was on her marriage notice but I can’t seem to find her birth or her mothers name.
Also John Maher like I said I found his marriage but there is nothing on it about his parents.

Please clarify...your initial post said that Mary's father was James, now you wrote it is John. What marriage record are you looking at that gives either father's names? The Roots Ireland transcribed information shows no father's names. On a side note, when clicking on the link to the original parish marriage record on Roots Ireland, it is not there. There is only one couple listed on 4 Feb 1820, and it is not them. I am not sure what happened there.
As Mary mentioned, you will not find a baptism record for either John or Mary as the baptism records for that parish begin in 1807. They were both born prior to that year.
