Hi I'm looking to see if someone mite have any information on my grandmother Margaret King. She lived in clonakenny roscrea . She was married to Joseph king . I don't know her exact dob the year she was born was 1925. She died 20th January 1978. She was 43. I think she came from a place called dunkerrin . She had 5 kids but they all got separated when she died.

Have you got Margaret's maiden name?
A birth cert from your Mum or Dad who was born to Margret and Joseph would tell you.
I did trace Joseph King to his birth and his parents.
Tried to find Joseph and Margaret's marriage these are online up to 1957 for Ireland so no result.
Eileen is like me I always got to the RIP.ie site as it can tell you so much.
Once I see Margaret's maiden name then we can find her ok.

Hi yes the noel king is my dad . He passed away 16 months ago. I think margaret maiden name was corcoran. I am unsure . Margaret died when my dad was 9 so he did not know much about her . Can you tell mw what you traced back about my grandad parents ? Thank you 😊

As you had the year of birth for Joseph King 1928. Mothers maiden name was Kiely, no it wasn't, when I look for a marriage it was Keilly. Joseph was born in Thurles.
Then I looked for a King and Keilly marriage and got this...............

Use this site births up to 1958 n Ireland. All mothers maiden names are not listed most show after 1925. But some do show from 1890 to 1922.

The next thing I would do is go to this site follow the links to obtaining the marriage of Joseph King and Margaret. It is 5 Euro about £4.65 + or - a few pence. Takes less than 6 weeks.

Or if you have the birth cert of Noel you wouldn't need the Marriage.
Once you are sure of Margaret's maiden name you can then get more information.

I havn't seen his as in Joseph's Birth cert. The cert I sent is Noels' grandparents marriage. Joseph's mother and father.
If you have looked in familysearch.org it only gives the mother for Joseph. That's why I searched for the marriage.
His as Joseph his father is Michael and Mother Mary.
Have you seen Noel's birth cert?

If not when you send me the mothers maiden name I will search for her family and Noel's and create a tree for you on a Spreadsheet.
