Thomas GLEESON and Ellen HAYES Family

Looking for relatives in Ireland - related to the family outlined below; Thomas, Ellen and children Ellen, Catherine, Bridget, James, the 2nd Mary and Thomas emigrated from Ireland to Australia on the Genghis Kahn, arriving in Moreton Bay on 18 Aug 1854.  Any help is much appreciated - Cheers, Kelly

  + Ellen HAYES (b. cir 1819); m. 26 Feb 1835 Killenaule, Tipperary; d. 24 Dec 1887, QLD

Children:

Matthew GLEESON b. cir 18 Dec 1835 Killenaule, Tip. [unverified info is that he emigrated cir. 1850 and went to Lancaster, England, m. first to Alice Ward (1853) and after her death m. Sarah Ann Mellor (1864) - name morphed to Cleeson, then Clayson]

Ellen GLEESON b. cir 21 Feb 1837, Cooleagh, Killenaule; m. Augustus HORNES 1 Aug 1859, QLD, Australia; m. 2nd husband James COLLINS 20 Jun 1876 QLD; d. 18 May 1902 QLD

Catherine GLEESON b. cir 7 Mar 1839 Cooleagh, Killenaule [no other info known except that she went with the family to Australia]

Bridget GLEESON b. cir 26 Sep 1841 Cooleagh, Killenaule; m. 5 Nov 1860 to John Bathurst JONES, QLD; d. 23 Jul 1921, QLD

James GLEESON (my gr-grandfather) b. cir 17 Oct 1844 Cooleagh, Killenaule; m. 13 Dec 1867 to Mary Josephine COLLINS, QLD; d. 14 Aug 1884, QLD

Mary GLEESON b. cir 20 Aug 1847 Cooleagh, Killenaule [presume that she died before birth of 2nd Mary]

Mary GLEESON b. cir 29 Jul 1849 Cooleagh, Killenaule [no other info known except that she went with the family to Australia]

Thomas GLEESON b. cir 1 Jan 1853 Cooleagh, Killenaule; m. cir 17 Jan 1875 to Margaret Elizabeth MORRIS, QLD; d. 8 Dec 1920, QLD

Thomas Gleeson was my great, great grandfather; Matthew Gleeson known as Clayson in England was my great grandfather who died in Manchester in 1904. His daughter Sarah Ann married Charles Hughes; their son Vincent was my father. I retired to Portugal in 2006. If I can help with any further information, please let me know.

I am a descendant of Bridget Gleeson and John Bathurst Jones, through their daughter Rosey Jones.  Would appreciate contact from anyone with information about this line, particularly the ancestry of John Bathurst Jones said to have been born in Bathurst NSW.
