Hi,

I checked Ancestry to see if there were any trees for Judith that you could contact the owner. Unfortunately, there were none. I checked RootsIreland (paid subscription) to see if she had siblings but found no records.

Records I found on Ancestry that you probably have.

On FindMyPast.ie I located a Sarah Shea baptized February 24 1847 at Golden with parents Michael Shea and Catherine Kelly.

Also located a Margaret Shea baptized December 3 1836 with same parents at Golden.

Using Roger's info on Ancestry I found Margaret's baptism record which identifies residence as Mantlehill. The M Hill on Judith's baptism record probably refers to Mantlehill. I researched on the internet Mantlehill.and found that the Golden- Kilfeacle Historical Society did a piece about Mantlehill. I could not find a link to them but local GAA hosted a launch party for them and you can contact them on Facebook.

Historical journal about Tipperary village set to launch next week - Tipperary Live

'There are articles on folk history of the parish, as remembered in a group interview with the older people in Mantlehill, and another on place names along the River Suir in Golden'

I was surprised that Judith did not come up with my searches so I started to adjust my search criteria. I found Judith and two other siblings. Their mother was shown as Cathn and apparently Cathn did not qualify as an alternative to Catherine.

Anne baptized in Golden same parents March 13 1842 and John baptized at Golden same parents June 23 1844.
