Hi,
I'm trying to find any additional information for James Dawson (born approx 1846) and Mary Ryan who were married on 5th Feb 1870 in Cashel and Emly according to this record:
I believe his fathers name is also James, and mother Ellen (maiden name unknown.
I have a family tree started over on Ancestry: BC Canavan Family Tree.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Brian
Brian:
See second record at this link https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1870/11373/8176064.pdf for the civil marriage record for James Dawson and Mary Ryan. The father of James was shown as Philip and Mary was a widow with her maiden name being Doherty. Her father was Maurice and both fathers were deceased.

Thank you so much for your help with this. I wasn't sure if Docherty was the maiden name, but that clarifies things.
