Stephen Cussack Carrick on Suir

Carrick Suir (Tipperary)

Hi. I'm heading off on a new line of research and it takes me to Carrick. Stephen Cussack had a daughter Anne Cussack (B 1844) who married my GGG Uncle Edward (sometimes Edmond) Haddican. He was a Glazier, she could write so had some education (no one else on the marriage certificate had a signature)

Stephen Cussack must have moved to Derbyshire with his family as he is present at the wedding.

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and found a November 28 1845 baptismal record at Carrick on Suir RC church for a Joanne Cusack with father Stephen Cusack and mother Hanora Donovan. Possibly this is the record for Anne Cusack?

Hi Roger. Thank you for the info. Yes, I would imagine Joanne would be Anglicised to Anne at some point or just a shortened version.
