It would be helpful if you included the surname of Bridget and the area in which they lived.
The parish of Cappawhite has many families named "John Ryan".
Civil records in Ireland are from January 1st 1864, so finding a birth or death record prior to this date will be difficult.
Famine was raging in Ireland in the 1840's and many families did not have farms, so they were likely to move residence
due to poverty.

McCoy, Bridget's surname was Burke; she and her husband John Ryan's names are on an 1847 baptismal record in Cappawhite Parish/Tipperary County for my GGF John B.H. Ryan.
Might there be newspaper articles, church records or obituaries in Cappawhite or Tipperary--the baptism document is the only information I have as to where they might have lived. Many thanks, John V. Ryan

I attach a copy of the baptism of John Ryan in 1847. No address on the parish record. Sponsors: Michael Bourke and Mary Hanly.
Subscription site www.rootsireland.ie has a record of the marriage of a John Ryan to Bridget Burke in Thurles parish on April 26th 1841.
The Witnesses were Michael Dwyer and Eliza Frankford.
A number of children baptised to a couple with those names in Toomyvara and Upperchurch - 1843 to 1859. Toomyvara is close to Nenagh and Upperchurch is close to Thurles.
A check on Roots for any siblings for John baptised in Cappawite was negative.
If I get any further information I will post it on.

A Bridget Burke is my 5th great grandmother, but my sources say she was married to Phillip Quirk, they had Mary Quirk, who married Michael Ryan.
Could they be the same Bridget?
