Some time ago a gentlemen posted a message regarding an 80 year old Patrick Shortis that still plays a few musical instruments in a particular pub. I cannot locate the message that he posted to me. As Parish Administrator are you able to locate the orginal message. I would like to write to this Pat Shortis to see if he can shed some light on the family tree.

My Great Great Grandfather was John Shortis brother of Michael, he married a Joanna Leonard in 1862. His father Patricks parents were James Shortis born 1774 and Johanna Cahill. I do not know when they married.

Yes I have a Kathleen Baker living in Melbourne who is my mothers cousin. Will need to go through my records to see where i obtained my info but I am sure it was from an Irish web site some time ago.
