Cusick Family in Sligo

Hi all, I'm new here, but just wondering if anyone could help... 

One of my ancestors was Patrick (alias James) Cusick, who spent much of his life living in Lancashire, England. On censuses etc., he gave his DOB as c.1823, and claimed to have been born in Sligo, Ireland. 

I'd love to be able to take the Cusick line back further, if possible... But I've been unable to find any plausible records. Perhaps they don't exist? ðŸ¤”

Hello Kmusilova,

Before we go back, I'd like to go forward a little.  What else do you know about Patrick? When does he first show up in UK censuses? What was his wife's name? His children's, in order? Was he married in UK or Ireland? Were the children all born in UK? Occupation? Religion? Anything else you might know?  Thanks!
