My great grandparents were, I believe married in Kilfree about 1841. They emigrated to England prior to 1865 to work in the Durham coalfields. Any information about them would be much appreciated. Their names were PatrickHannan and Maria(Mary) Alcock.

What was their religious denomination? If they were RC, the marriage records for Kilfree parish do not start until 1844 and baptisms are not available until 1873 http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0132

Thanks Roger I owe you a drink. I followed your link and found their Marriage Entry. In fact one of his older brothers was a witness.
Well done and thank you
