Searching for the Healey family

SligoEasky (Sligo)

I am looking for any information on my great grandfather, Thomas Healey, born in 1862. I would also love to find out if any of my ancestors are still living in County Sligo.

Here's a possible baptism record:

http://Name: Thomas Healy Date of Birth: 04-Jan-1862 Date of Baptism: 11-Jan-1862 Address: Rope Walk Parish/District: SLIGO Gender: Male County Co. Sligo Denomination: Roman Catholic Father: Peter Mother: Honora Lynch Occupation: Sponsor 1 / Informant 1: Luke Scanlon Sponsor 2 / Informant 2: Anna Keegan

There are no Healys in Sligo in the current Irish phone directory

There were not many Healey/Healy in the 1901 and 1911 censuses for Easky parish but the records below may relate to the baptismal record that Col located above. Honora and Norah are interchangeable.

I have a William John Healy, born 15 Jun 1889 in Farranmacfarrel townland, Dromore West in my tree. He married a cousin of mine and the year remained living in that area, with him dying in 1969.
