I'm looking for information on Henry Whiteside b. 1760 in County Sligo near Ballysodare or any of his children. He married Esther Shannon.

Hello I am Caroline Whiteside from Melbourne Australia. All I know is that my great great grandfather was a Henry Whiteside from Co. Sligo. He and his wife Margaret Cuff moved to Glasgow in the 1840s and they died there leaving 3 young children including my great grandfather George who was 2. The children were repatriated to the Sligo workhouse where they lived until they were united with their uncle (on their mother’s side) in Sydney. The children were put on a ship and travelled there.
I don’t know if this is the same family, however.
