Catherine Kenny from Athleague-Fuerty Co. Roscommon

Roscommon

Hello,

I am trying to find the correct parish church my 3x great grandmother was baptized in. I am also trying to find any siblings as well as more information on her parents. I am visiting Sept. of next year for my 2nd trip.

Info- Catherine Kenny baptised March 16, 1815  (married Michael Flynn)

parents Thadeus and Maria Kenny (no maiden name for Maria)

Attached is the file. I appreciate any help.

thank-you in advance,

Debbie Colson

Thank-you so much for your quick reply and the information. Any additional info on their parents? I may have to resubscribe to RootsIreland.

Do you know the name of the church today? It appears several of them combined. I want to visit the correct church next year.

thank-you so much,

Debbie Colson

Debbie,

I did not find any more info on the parents. If you are going in September, you might want to fill out the Meet and Greet Form on this site. They might be able to help you find the right Church

Thank-you Mary.

I have attached the name of the parish as of 1815. I have also attached what could be the Parish today. I have emailed the parish twice with no response. I am not going until Sept. of 2026 for my 2nd trip. I did a Meet and Greet when I was in Co. Offaly with a wonderful volunteer. I just donated again yesterday. You folks do an amazing job.

In appreciation,

Debbie
