Finnegan / Bostock
My ggggrandmother, Margaret Finnegan (maiden namepossibly Rogers) born approximately 1841is found on the 1901 Ireland Census:Residents of a house 3 in Lisnagroob (Kiltullagh, Roscommon) widowed, along with her 2sons and granddaughter.
Margaret's daughter, my gggrandmother, Mary Finneganborn approximately 1870. She married Thomas Bostock (b: 1866). Their daughter, Elizabeth Bostock, was baptised on 29 August 1891 in Parish of Kiltullagh (County Roscommon) - Certificate of Baptism is attached.
In 1910 Mary Bostock (nee Finnegan)is on a passenger list to Nova Scotia withElizabeth and siblings. Elizabethmarried William McGrath in 1911 and they livedColliers Newfoundland. I believe Mary Bostock (nee Finnegan) was buried in Nova Scotia Canada. Not sure about much in between.
I recently connected with a distant cousin on the Finnegan linevia ancestry who lives in Massachusetts - he indicated that I should have many relatives stillliving in Roscommonbut Ihaven't been able to reach himagain.
Any infoor suggestions of where to look for information would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Sharon Gilbert
