Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Have you searching for the family in the 1901/1911 census records? These can sometimes offer lots of useful information and can be searched online here:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
You can also use Church records for information. Most Catholic records are held locally, one website which may be helpful is the Irish Times where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Kilkeevin parish follow this link:
http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/rcparishmaps/index.cfm?fuseaction=showidrecords&CityCounty=Roscommon&parish=Kilkeevin&churchid=551
For Church of Ireland records check http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/. The Anglican Record Project is has created an index to their records: http://ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/AngRecord/bunclodyunionindex.pdf
Family Search also has some records online, you can search these here:
www.familysearch.org
Civil Registration began in Ireland in 1864, so you can also use these records which are available from the General Register?s Office in Dublin. Here is their website:
Family Search also has the indexes online here: https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347
