Patrick and John Conry of Runnabull
With no few hints from this site, I am managing to make it back generation after generation.
Now I have found the name of my 5x great grandfather and the likely original location of the family farm, the problem is there are two names associated with it, possibly father and son, possibly brothers, possibly cousins, &c., which is at Runnaboll.
In 1792 a group of Catholics led by Denis O'Conor Don and other notable nobility and gentry was signed by John Conry, Runnabull, and Patrick Conry, Ditto.
I actually found quite a bit of information on the property of Francis, the son of one of these gentlemen, who would have been born about 1790, in the Tithe Appointments, he rented a farm at Lisaphilip.
Anything likely to exist between the 1749 Census of Elphin and then ? Anyone know what Runnaboll was called in that census ?
