Dear mcdonagh
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
There are two records on rootsireland.ie (a subscription site) for a James McDonagh; a baptism and civil birth record for 1875, Co. Roscommon As this is a subscription site I am limited in what I can see. It might be a good idea to have a look as there are only two. Alternatively you may be able to see what you need on the free site, familysearch.org
Best wishes
