Hello Patricia & Eileen,

I have more information regarding Marion Eaton, her parents were Edward & Elizabeth Clarke as you rightly thought and Marion came over to England after her father (Edward's) Death in 1938. We suspect she changed her name to the auntie she came to England with? And her first name might not actually been Marion? Is it possible to find out the names of any other children Edward & Elizabeth Clarke had besides Delia & Michael? We might be able to finally trace her birth certificate. I sent a picture of the grave we found at St Patrick's in Elphin and the names/dates match what we know.

Eileen and Patricia have done a lot of research. I know they have asked if you have any info about Elizabeth Clarke Eaton. She isn't in the 1901 census with her family. I assume parents were Michael Clarke and Bridget Nary/ Neary. Bridget was a widow. I haven't found Michael's death record, as well as, on Edward's marriage record his father was not marked deceased.

I have not found a birth record for Elizabeth. Could she have been a cousin? Could Marion be her daughter. Do you have any records from England for Elizabeth and Edward Eaton? Maybe a census?
