Is there a burial ground associated with Templeharry church?
I know that my Williams ancestors were part of Templeharry church with William, Robert and John Williams being baptised in 1804, 1811 and possibly 1805 and the children of Robert, from whom I am descended, baptised in the 1840s. There are still descendants from Robert in Cloughjordan today.
I am aware of the Modreeny graveyard where later Willams' are buried but I am wondering if there was ever a graveyard attached to Templeharry. I have looked at a couple of photos of the church and have seen a couple of stones near the church. If there is a graveyard have the 'occupants' been recorded or the stones photographed? I have an old piece of paper indicating myGt Gt Aunt Maria Jane Williams was buried at Templeharry.I guess formal church deaths will be recorded in the registers that are now held in church HQ in Dublin.
