Thomas Rogers married Mary Kelly in April 1861 according to records on the subscription site Roots Ireland. The RC parish was Rhode. So with a marriage in 1861, Thomas was born in 1844 or earlier.
The only record in Roots Ireland in Co. Offaly was an August 1 1833 baptismal record for a Thomas Rogers with parents John Rogers and B Dooly. The RC parish was Kilcormac which is further west from the parish of Rhode which is in the northeast corner of Co. Offaly. Not sure this is the correct record.
