Booth/Nethercote of Parsonstown

Offaly

I Hello I am searching for information about my ancestorsthe Booth/Nethercotefamily who were in Parsonstown Kings County from about 1739.

I believe therewasa Thomas Booth of Rathgibbon who was granted a land lease in or around 1739. I dont have any other details about him. I would like to know more about how he came to be there and who his wife was. Thefamily were COI.

His son, also Thomas Booth, was married to Sarah Nethercote. I believe he died c.1792. Sarah was the daughter of Isaac Nethercote but I dont have any dates or details for them.

I would be very grateful if anyone has any details they could share.

Thank you.

Thank you very much Geraldine.

I am very grateful to you for finding and sharing these files.  They make very interesting reading.  Can you tell me if the church record document is dated 1713?  Its a bit tricky to read, and do you know which church it is from?  I am pretty sure that the Thomas Booth in the prerogative wills document is my 5 times great grandfather.    Can you tell me does Rathgibbin still exist in modern day Ireland?  Thank you again for your help - that's another piece of the jigsaw.
