Here is the 1869 civil marriage record for Owen Kenny and Mary Rock. Owen is shown as 48 and a widower, If he was 48 in 1869 then he was born around 1821. Your note indicates your Owen was born in 1838. So possibly the 1869 marriage is for another Owen Kenny.
