Eccles of Corlealackagh

MonaghanClontibret (Monaghan)

I was in Corlealackagh a few years ago and met up with the wife of one of my father's cousins. My father's cousin was Jim Eccles and his widow, whom I met, was Alice Eccles. I'm trying to contact their son who had a car maintenance business but can't remember if he was Sean or Seamus.

I'm hoping he can help me put a name to a photo whichanother relative in Brooklyn passed on to me showing some of the Eccles family.

If anyone knows howI can contact him please advise. An email address would be useful as I could then scan the photo and send it that way.

There was another relative who may also be able to help and her married name was Flanagan (I think she was Kate). She had been a teacher at, I think Ballybay, and then became an inspector for schools.

Any help greatly appreciated

Thank you

Good Morning

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in replying to your message.

If you haven?t been able to find them on a google search of residential listings in the phone book, you could always write to them at Corlealackagh, Clontibret, Co. Monaghan

Best wishes

Good Morning Clare

To be honest I hadn't looked in the phone book, I was trying to find the business that the son Sean or Seamus (can't remember which) had in the area.

Will now take your advice and look in the phonebook. What a dimwit I am!!
