Hi Sean
There are 7 birth/baptism records of Joseph Montgomery in Fermanagh on www.rootsireland.ie/ (pay site)
However the earliest is 1871.
Clones is not included in the list of parishes in Fermanagh; 3 of the 7 were from Brookeborough Registration District
I couldn't find a marriage record for Joseph & Ellen
The Tithe Applotments (free) have only 2 Montgomerys in Fermanagh in 1834 - a John & a Mat in DunmucKram, Innishmacsaint www.tithe applotments.nationalarchives.ie/
The Irish Census (free) 1821 has 110 Montgomerys in Fermanagh includig 4 Josephs
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/
PRONI (Public Records of Northern Ireland) www.proni.gov.uk - search the name option for Montgomery in Fermanagh you'll get 27 (no Josephs) in the 1766 Religious Census and the Pre-1858 Wills and Admons

Thank you for the information Col,
I will have to search my records to get an exact date when Joseph Jr. and his Parents came to Canada this is starting to get complicated.
