Griffin Griffen

My G Grandfather was married 4X. I am looking for family of his first wife a Frances (Fanny) Griffin daughter of James and Margaret Griffen, born about 1854 In Ireland . I have one record of a Marriage In Navan, Meath, St Mary's Church on 29 July 1871. She married a William Henry Fry son of William and Catherine from ? (could not read). Later I learned his mother's maiden name Kilduff. I believe the Frys were from Mullingar Westmeath. From record, William was residing Oldcastle and James, Margaret and Frances residing Navan. Witnesses James Dardis and Catherine Fagan residing Navan I believe James and Catherine married later in 1877.

William (b 14 Sep 1852 England) was in the 97 Regiment stationed in Bermuda and Halifax NS Canada. He left service in 1885 settling in Halifax NS and later NB Canada . William and Frances had 7 children 3 born in Meath, James (2 Feb 1873), Kate (11 June !874), and George (15 Nov 1880). Frances died young in 1886 NB Canada. By accident I found their 2 youngest children living in Woolwich Arsenal London In 1891 with Wm's mother. I thought I might exhaust Meath and Ireland. And move on to Woolwich and Wiltshire England, try to get info that way.
