Beckett Family

Looking for the family of Charles Beckett born c 1825. He immigrated Canada c 1847. Parents and family unknown.

On researching the Irish records available online, there is a Charles Beckett receiving assistance via Poverty Relief Loans from 1839 through 1844and giving his residence asCappavicar, Turlough, Mayo. I believe this the individual I seek, as those witnessing his relief loans, appear in the same community as Charles Beckett, in Canada in 1851. Charles also witnesses loans to those individuals as well. Charles appears to have been living in Cappavicar, his friends, (or possible family) livedin Park, Breaffy and Cappavicar also. Those individuals that might be related: Wilson, Shaw, Riddle, Otterson, Lotan.

As Charles Beckett disappears from Canadian records c1867, I am hoping more about his family can be found in surviving Irish records in Turlough.
